I'm going to start this post by saying I am not a huge Lance Armstrong fan. I was at one point, long before his rise to infamy. But then there was Cheryl Crow. Turns out I'm a bigger fan of hers than of his...enough said.
I am however a fan of LIVESTRONG. It is a well run, well intended organziation that has managed to have an impact in our world. I'm also a fan of their Take the Dare program - which I thought was worth sharing with all of you. Not because I think you will run out and sign on for a dare, but because if even for a moment you think about taking a dare it will be a moment well spent in your day.
Here's how it works. Go to the website and take a look at the Dares - the choices range from big ones like completing a triathalon to little ones like simply taking a daily vitamin. Then you sign on for your dare - I chose make a doctors appointment because I really need to do this! Then you become part of the Dare program - which means you join the community and track your daily progress. You can also share the dare with a friend and connect it to your Facebook page to inspire your friends there.
It's a simple concept, but one that just might get you motivated to push forward on something you know you need, and want, to do.
