This week marked a pretty important week for TJ and I - our first real retail order of Run U Mother products!  You can now find our stuff in the Fleet Feet store in Columbia, Maryland.  All thanks to another Mom who saw our products at the Iron Girl race in Columbia last year.  

I once wrote an article called Cereal Entrepreneur for This Mommy Gig talking about the fact that every mom is really an entrepreneur.  By the time we've finished getting our kids breakfast and out the door we've likely come up with multiple ideas to enhance any given product (a new cereal perhaps, or maybe a better way to tie shoes....).  The problem is we don't have the time to bring them to life. 

For TJ and I the idea of Run U Mother took hold several years ago.  Ever since that great inspired moment we've been trying our best to keep it alive - all while running our families, working, and trying to keep our own sanity.  The support we get from all U Mothers out there, and our families, has kept us pushing forward...even in the most difficult of times.

So when we got the call from Fleet Feet, from another Mom who gets what we are trying to do, it  was a really big U Mother moment.  I wanted to share this story of how our idea is getting its first big opportunity thanks to the support of another MOM because it is so inspiring to me and I thought it might be for any of you other Cereal Entrepreneurs out there.
